WSRID Committee and Board Involvement Info Session

****This meeting has been cancelled due to low member registration.  If you have specific questions about joining the board or volunteering to serve on a committee, please email WSRID President  Contact info is available on the WSRID website under the Board page.****

WSRID is a member driven organization, and that means current and future members as well. Volunteering can be extremely rewarding and take many forms: coordinating a committee, helping to brainstorm on potential workshops or celebrations, providing feedback on policy, creating a special interest group for yourself and other interpreters who share a common interest or professional goal, and so much more. And, having more ownership in your professional organization and supporting one another in direct and indirect ways can be very satisfying work. So, while it can be hard at times, many hands make for light work, and OUR organization can do as much or as little as we want it to – we need each other to make it work.

If you would like to learn more, ask questions, or share ideas with myself, other members of the board, and some of our committee coordinators, please join us and register online for one of the following dates to chat about committees and volunteerism.
